- Will my company be recorded, on the IPO website, as having an interest in the trademark?
Yes! You will be recorded as a licensee of the trademark.
- How is the licence structured?
You will have an exclusive, indefinite licence to use the trademark in the UK. This means that, so long as you abide by the licence agreement, you will have the right to be the only one using the trademark and it will go on indefinitely.
- What is included in the licence fee?
Besides exclusive and indefinite use, at no extra cost to you we will (1) regularly scan the UK IPO website and submit notices of intention to object to trademark applications that we believe may dilute your brand; and (2) send cease and desist letters to trademark infringers who you bring to our attention. If you prefer, you can opt out of these services.
